Product Description
A regiment with an illustrious history, but sadly long gone. The Cameron's merged with the Seaforth Highlanders in 1960 to form the Queen's Own Highlanders, who then merged with the Gordon Highlanders to form The Highlanders. And then a few years ago all of our fine Scottish infantry regiments merged again to form The Royal Regiment of Scotland. The only link today within the Royal Regiment of Scotland to the Cameron's is the distinctive Cameron of Erracht tartan still worn by the pipers of the 4th Bn Royal Regiment of Scotland. This is the first of two mugs we have done to depict this fine regiment.
Figures shown on the mug are as follows:
Netherlands 1799, Toulouse 1814, Waterloo 1815, Crimea 1854, India 1858, Egypt 1882, Sudan 1898, Aldershot 1899, South Africa 1900, India 1914.
